Pearl Jam Confuse Fans by Hooking Up with Condeleezza Rice in Dropbox Deal

You remember Connie, right?  She worked with George W. on the wars in in Iraq and Afghanistan, two conflicts that Pearl Jam vehemently opposed.

Back up.  When Drew Houston founded Dropbox, the company was called Evenflow in honour of the Pearl Jam song.  That’s how big of a fan he was.  Pearl Jam was an early adopter of Dropbox, too.

Yesterday, it was announced that Pearl Jam would become an investor in Dropbox.  At the same time, the company noted that Condoleezza Rice would become a board member of the company.

Talk about art, business and politics being strange bedfellows, huh?
