  • I can't say I'm tremendously surprised. Jay-Z has had some rock leanings in his stuff, and '99 Problems', produced by Rick Ruben, is a quintessential rap-rock song (along the lines of Public Enemy & Anthrax).

    I would have been a little more surprised if he had done a different song. Maybe rap a rendition of a PJ song? Or rearrange another of his hits to infuse rock?
