People have been asking for a master list of all songs played on Ongoing History of New Music shows. Here you go. It’s 462 hours long.

Every week, The Ongoing History of New Music includes anywhere from seven to 12 songs as part of whatever story is being told. Each episode gets its own posting on Corus Radio websites as well as A Journal of Music Things, and for the past number of years, Eric Wilhite has been kind enough to compile a playlist for each show.

However, some people want something a little longer and more comprehensive. How about a Spotify playlist fearturing everyone song heard on The Ongoing History of New Music? Eric’s response? “Hold my beer.”

This master playlist doesn’t cover all ~1100 episodes, but it does reach back through the show’s podcast era, which began in 2017. The first edition runs 462 hours and will only get longer.

Fill yer boots. Let’s see how many listens it gets. And if you do make it all the way through, let us know.
