Setlist.fm says their first Toronto show was on November 4, 1989 at Apocalypse
I saw Soundgarden with Voivod and Faith No More @ Porter Hall in Ottawa January 11 1990. Would assume the Toronto show was around that time.
The Concert Hall 1990 they opened for Viovod and Faith No More
I was at this show and remember Chris Cornell walking on tables and his voice blowing the roof off the Apocalypse Club! My first grunge show and I was lucky enough to see Soundgarden! Totally cool to have seen them before they were ever signed to a major label.
I remember them playing Kiss/Beth acapella for their 3rD? encore. Anyone?
I was in the front yelling ‘Freebird!’
