I have a feeling that album releases are going to get rather interesting over the next while. With Bowie’s shock release, Beyonce’s surprise record and U2’s Apple freebie, you can bet that other artists are looking at ways to shock us with new music. And who better than Radiohead?

Think back to In Rainbows, an album that was recorded in complete secrecy and then sprung on us with just ten days notice. What might they have in store for their next release? And does this picture of a record that appeared on Thom Yorke’s Tumblr page mean anything? A solo record? A teaser for the new Radiohead release? Whatever the case, Radiohead has proven that they have the ability to delight and surprise. Bring it on.
