Pink Floyd: “We are never ever getting back together.”

I’ve always been fascinated by the depth of animus former bandmates can have for each other. Take the situation between Roger Waters and Pink Floyd, for example. Why the hate?

Waters posted something on social media wondering why the official Pink Floyd website never mentions him or his solo work. He even when so far as to suggest that the band should change their name to Spinal Tap.

Here’s his full statement.

Meanwhile, here’s Waters’ great version of “Mother” done from isolation this past week.

  • Roger walked away when he could not control. Its been a long time since that happened and with Three band members no longer alive, its a maybe. Personally I dont like Roger vs. David, both are superstar and should be respected as such.
