Survey

Planning on getting married in 2024? Here are some of the most played wedding songs of 2023 (in case you want to be different)

If you’re ever been married, you’ll know that one of the most tortuous decisions you have to make is the First Dance Song. Do you go with something traditional? Something modern and cool? Should it be slow and romantic or something that’s super-danceable?

A new year-end survey from the UK on the most popular wedding songs has been released.

  1. Ed Sheeran – ‘Perfect’
  2. John Legend – ‘All Of Me’
  3. Elvis Presley – ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’
  4. Ed Sheeran – ‘Thinking Out Loud’
  5. Jason Mraz – ‘I’m Yours’
  6. Adele – ‘Make You Feel My Love’
  7. Earth, Wind & Fire – ‘September’
  8. Etta James – ‘At Last’
  9. Bruno Mars – ‘Marry You’
  10. Stevie Wonder – ‘Isn’t She Lovely’

I can’t believe that “At Last” by Ella Fitzgerald isn’t here. Or “Somebody” by Depeche Mode. Or “The Power of Love” by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.” (Those were among the songs in a medley we created for our first dance, in case you were wondering.)
