Please Let This Story Be True…

According to the Sunday Times, organizers for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, recently approached the management of The Who to enquire as to Keith Moon’s availability for the closing ceremonies on August 12. 

Yes, you read that correctly. 

Manager Bill Curbishley:  “I emailed back saying Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to the Who’s anthemic line ‘I hope I die before I get old’,” the band’s longtime manager, Bill Curbishley, told the Times. “If they have a round table, some glasses and candles, we might contact him.”

  • If the Olympic organizers think Keith Moon is still alive, this throws out any hopes of the surviving members of Zeppelin performing.
