Polaris Music Prizes Cross-Country Salons

With the annual Polaris Music Prize Gala coming up in Toronto on September 24, organizers are taking the Short List across the country for a series of “salons”–opportunities for those so inclined to debate the merits of each of these ten albums.

These are not timid.  The PMP Salons have been nicknamed UFC, which is short for “Ultimate Fighting Critics.” Things can get…heated.

If you can’t make it to one of these events yourself, use Rdio to acquaint yourself with these ten excellent records.

Full details on the times and locations of the salons after the jump.
