Prince as a Junior High School Basketball Player? Yep.

Libor Jany of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune was going through the paper’s archives when he came across something rather unusual: Prince Nelson in his basketball uniform while attending Bryant Junior High.

“Prince” and “basketball” aren’t two words I often put together, especially since the Purple One is all of 5’2″. Minus the hair, of course.

are you kidding? what about the charlie murphy – dave chappelle “shirts vs. blouses” basketball sketch? isn’t that where the kids MOSTLY know about Prince from?
