Prince’s house from “Purple Rain” is now an AirBnB

I’m struggling to come to terms that Purple Rain (the movie and the album) came out forty years ago. Naturally, there’s going to be all sorts of commemorations and celebrations–but few people were expecting this.

The Minneapolis house where Prince lived in the film will be available as an AirBnB rental for a year beginning in August. Here’s The Kid’s bedroom.

The house is also filled with Prince memorabilia and will be stocked with all kinds of rare Prince tracks on the stereo to set the mood. Your hosts? Prince associates Wendy and Lisa, of course.
