Prosecutors in California are charging singer D4vd with murder relating to a teen found in his Tesla

Things are moving fast in the case of the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas, a runaway who was found in the boot of a Tesla in an impound lot in California last September. She (or rather, what was left of her) was found in a bag.

The Tesla was registered to David Anthony Burke, a singer known professionally as D4vd. He cooperated at first, then was declared a person of interest, and then, last week, arrested and held without bail.

Yesterday (April 20), the DA moved to charge D4vd with murder.

The charge is first-degree murder. If convicted, D4vd faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty.

He has pleaded not guilty.

In case you didn’t know, D4vd is responsible for the theme to Fortnite. He has millions of followers on social media and music streaming platforms. His debut album was called Withered.
