Pusha T brings his Drake dissing to Toronto. Violence ensues.

A man was critically injured during last night’s Pusha T gig at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto Tuesday night (November 20). It went down like this.

If you’ve been following along, Pusha T has a beef with Drake which has boiled over several times on both sides. Things escalated last Saturday at the Camp Flog Gnaw Festival when this backdrop appeared during T’s set.

T says this was the result of some over-zealous stage technician. Uh-huh.

What would happen when T rolled into The Six? Nothing good.

First, about 35 minutes into the show, people began throwing beer at the stage. (Rumours from Team Pushia say that Drake bought 200 tickets the gig and then paid people to douse T with beer.) That was followed by people rushing the stage, leaping barriers and pushing past security.

The injured man walked into a nearby hospital with serious stab wounds. No one is sure if he was stabbed during the brawls onstage or sometime later.

This bodes ill. Older hip-hop fans remember how weird things were in the late 80s and early 90s when beefs got out of control. Are today’s fans taking things too far? Maybe.
