Actually, given that Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina were sent away for their act of hooliganism in a church, I’m not sure they celebrate Christmas at all–but they’ll nevertheless be home for the holidays.

Vladimir Putin has pardoned both women under an amnesty bill which will see the release of some 25,000 (!!!) people who have committed non-violent crimes.
