Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has composed an organ piece that runs EIGHT HOURS. Here’s a preview.

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has a lot going on outside of Radiohead. There’s The Smile, the project with Thom Yorke, all his soundtrack work, and the occasional solo piece. The latest one of those is an eight-hour composition for organ called “268 Years of Reverb.”

Yep. Eight hours.

The world premiere is coming up this weekend at the Norfolk & Norwich Festival in the UK and will be performed by James McVinnie & Eliza McCarthy. Attendees don’t have to stay for the whole thing. Tickets are available for the gig in increments of one hour and 50 minutes.

If you’re not in the UK and you’re pressed for time, let’s settle for this two minute sample. I wonder if there will be an extended dance mix?
