I’m fascinated by the ‘Oumuamua mystery. Aliens? That would be cool. On to music news for February 1, 2021.

  1. Coachella 2021? Nope. At least not for April.
  2. There’s a hologram festival coming up that requires you to build a hologram device at home. Kinda cool, really. (Via Sean)
  3. RIP Hilton Valentine, guitarist with The Animals.
  4. Kanye is being sued by his Sunday Service crew for stiffing them on salaries. There are also allegations of mistreatment of performers.
  5. This mansion in Colorado comes with its own mini outdoor concert amphitheatre.
  6. Rod Stewart reached a plea deal in a case where he punched a security guard.
  7. A guitar stolen from 54-40 two years ago (along with a lot of other gear since recovered) has been found.
  8. One of the legal issues from the canceled Woodstock 50 festival has finally been setttled.
  9. Liam Gallagher seems to be going a little stir crazy.
  10. Here’s something I need to use: Google’s hacked passwords tool.
  11. Frampton Forgets the Words. Wait–what?
  12. Rob Zombie is working on a graphic novel with Anthrax.

  14. Some songwriters are cashing in big with commercials for this year’s Super Bowl.
  15. Jon Schaffer of Iced Earth has yet to be extradited to DC to answer charges regarding his role in the US Capitol siege. He’s still in an Indiana jail.
