It’s Bloomsday!  And I’m still not going to read Ulysses.

  1. NBC is apparently working on a new series based on the early years of the Beatles.
  2. Speaking of whom, the old British mono recordings will be released on vinyl in September.
  3. A special tribute to Casey Kasem (who died yesterday at age 82) can be found here.
  4. Justin Bieber will be charged with vandalism today following that egging incident of his neighbour.
  5. A summary of last night’s MMVAs–from a foreign source, just for fun.  And now, a Canadian source.
  6. ELO is getting back together–sort of.
  7. Rob Ford, the musical?  Yep.
  8. Creepy/scary/cool?  You decide.  The singer who sang through her tumor surgery on her throat so doctors could know if they were digging in the wrong spot.
  9. Just in case you want to feel old today, Nirvana’s Bleach turned 25 yesterday.
  10. Finally, a long-time Toronto indie band got to live out a dream. Watch.
