What’s happening in music today in easily-digestible bits.

 

  1. The first three Led Zeppelin albums are getting the remaster treatment on both CD and vinyl.
  2. Entertainment Weekly has this Top 10 list of criminally underrated albums.
  3. Bono, the Republican. No, not an Irish republican (although he’s one of those, too), but someone who might lead the right in the US.
  4. What about all those drummers in Nirvana pre-Dave Grohl. Do they belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?  Discuss.
  5. Finally, here’s a trailer for the upcoming James Brown bio-pic:
