Music News

Random Music News for Saturday, November 29, 2014

This is one of the slowest music news week of the year. Blame American Thanksgiving.

  1. There will be a revealing and poignant interview with AC/DC’s Angus Young on Australian TV Monday night. He’ll talk about this brother Malcolm’s dementia.
  2. A band called Joanna Gruesome won the Welsh Music Prize. I really like this band.
  3. A snippet of a new Madonna song has leaked.  Or maybe I should say “leaked.” Very little she does is an accident.
  4. If you’re a Canadian musician, you might want to read this study that concerns being fairly compensated for creating music in the digital era.
  5. Apple’s CarPlay and Pioneer have introduced more connected car hardware.
