Rapper arrested in crypto multi-billion-dollar money-laundering scheme

Note to would-be fraudsters: Learn how the blockchain works before you try the launder cryptocurrency.

On Tuesday, a woman named Heather Morgan was arrested along with her husband, Ilya Lichtenstein. They’ve been accused of laundering bitcoin (119,754 of them currently worth US$4.5 billion) that was stolen as the result of a hack of a crypto exchange in 2016.

Why is this story being reported here? Because Heather Morgan also billed herself as a “raunchy rapper” named Razzlekhan.

Interestingly, one of her more famous videos is called “Crocodile of Wall Street.” Why? Because she promoted herself as an expert in fighting cybercrime. In fact, she wrote an article for Forbes entitled “Experts share tips to protect your business from cybercriminals.”

I cannot make this stuff up.
