Rapper D4vd is under grand jury investigation about that body they found in his Teslas
The story thus far. Back on September 8, police responded to an impound lot in Los Angeles when the owners reported a terrible smell coming from a Tesla that had been towed. The source turned out to be the body of a 14-year-old runaway named Celeste Rivas. She’s been missing for about a year.
“Detectives approached the vehicle which was parked on the upper deck of the impound lot and immediately noticed a smell of decaying biological material consistent with a decomposing corpse coming from the front storage compartment of the vehicle.”
The Tesla was registered to David Anthony Burke, a rapper who goes by the namd D4vd. By November, he was declared a person of interest in the case (No sh*t, huh?) while offering cooperation and claiming innocence. Now, recently unsealed court records (via Rolling Stone) from Texas state that he “may be involved in the death of a 14-year-old victim.”
The new revelations are nothing short of gruesome. Police found a cadaver bag “covered with insects and a strong odour of decay.” . When they unzipped it, the first thing they saw was a decomposed head and torso.
“Upon removing the cadaver bag from the front storage compartment, it was discovered the arms and legs had been severed from the body, A second black bag was discovered underneath the cadaver bag. Upon opening the second bag, the dismembered body parts were discovered.”
That was September 7, 2025. It took the coroner a week to identify Celeste because her remains were so badly decomposed. When her mother was notified, she told police that the last she heard, Celeste had a boyfriend named “David.” She also had a finger tattoo that read “Shh…” Guess who else had an identical tattoo?
D4vd has canceled all concerts. He hasn’t made a public statement. He hasn’t been arrested or charged, but he has hired a lawyer who has worked on behalf of Kanye, Lindsay Lohan, and Harvey Weinstein.
