Rapper shoots manager dead then is run over by a car. There’s video.

Key Vhani, a Miami rapper (real name: Kevhani Camilla Hicks) is charged with second degree murder after she shot her manager to death, something that was caught on surveillance video.

The footage shows Vhani arguing with a man, apparently her manager. Things escalated quickly and get physical. Another man joins the argument and Vhani is pushed to the ground and pinned there for a few seconds. She’s able to get up and starts to walk away. That’s when she pulls out a gun and begins firing. While the manager tries to escape, the second man runs. Vhani continues to follow the manager and shoots at him again. At that point, someone in a while car drives into her, running her over.

When cops arrived, they found the manager with several gunshot wounds and an injured Vhani. When the police asked her for a statement, she said she used the gun because she feared for her own safety. This self-defense plea allowed her to be released on a US$50,000 bond pending trial.

Meanwhile, fans have launched an Instagram page, saying that that case should be dismissed under Florida’s “stand-your-ground law,” There’s also a GoFundMe campaign to help with her legal costs.

Here’s a report.
