Rare Depeche Mode Video Surfaces from the 1990 Violator Tour

According to Slicing Up Eyeballs, proper footage of Depeche Mode’s World Violator Tour from 1990, has been a Holy Grail to Mode fans.  The band and its management couldn’t be arsed to capture it on film. But rumours persisted of something being shot by someone.

It turns out that the house film crew at Dodger Stadium were on the case.  They ended up giving the film to the band who have shown bits of it on their official website.

We still don’t have the whole thing, but DM has uploaded 90 second clips of each of the songs performed on August 4, 1990.  Could this be a precursor to a proper release?

Unfortunately, all the clips are separate and have to be viewed one at time.  Start with “Personal Jesus” and then click through the rest of the clips here.
