Recommended Reading Week continues: The story of Led Zeppelin’s Peter Grant

There are so many good books to recommend this holiday season that we’re going to continue Reading Week with selections that encompass all facets of music.

Here, for example, is the story of Peter Grant, a former wrestler who became the fearsome, thuggish, and often dangerously violent manager of Led Zeppelin. His hardball tactics (to put it mildly) altered the way much of the way the concert industry worked in the 70s and in the process made his band very, very rich.

While Grant’s exploits are mentioned in plenty of Led Zeppelin biographies, this is the first time an entire book has been decided to his career.

Bring It On Home: Peter Grant, Led Zeppelin and Beyond has just been released, Get it here.
