Record Store Day 2020 pushed back two months

Ever since it was established, Record Store Day has been held on the third Saturday in April. Not this year.

Because of coronavirus fears, this year’s RSD has been pushed back from April 18 to June 20. Retailers are working that (a) their stores will become new repositories of the virus; and (b) no one will show up. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t, right?

So what will become of April 18? Some retailers are looking at ideas that will preserve some of the usual RSD action.
