Record Store Day’s Ambassador and Champion

The tenth annual Record Store Day is coming up April 22, something that requires an Ambassador (for the US) and a Champion (for the UK). Last month, we heard that St. Vincent would serve as US Ambassador, following in the footsteps of people like Metallica, Ozzy, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme.

In the UK, the honour of being named Champion goes to Anton Newcombe of, er, Portland, Oregon’s, Brian Jonestown Massacre.
