Remember Rebecca Black and “Friday?” She’s all growed up now

Few music videos received as much scorn as Rebecca Black’s “Friday” which hit YouTube in 2021. It wasn’t an artistic triumph but it has been viewed 163 million times. A quick bit of royalty calculations reveal that it has earned US$285,250. Not bad.

Despite all the stick she took over that video, she hasn’t been deterred. Here is her latest video.
