Remembering the Movie Heavy Metal

Fark posted this trailer of a 1981 animated film for rockin’ adults.  If you every get a chance to see the whole thing, do it.

My favourite song from the soundtrack was “Radar Rider” from a long-forgotten band called Riggs.

Great movie…..AWESOME soundtrack!! I’ve had to replace it a few times, I wore out the cassette once, and the first CD version I bought ‘went missing’ in my friend’s car.

My favorite song from the movie never appeared on the soundtrack, “Through Being Cool” by Devo.

  • This reminds me of Rock & Rule. Lou Reed’s “My Name is Mok” is my favourite part.
