Remembering the time when Luke Perry appeared in a banned Twisted Sister video

Luke Perry, the star of Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale, died yesterday after suffering a massive stroke. He was just 52.

Among all the tributes that have come in was this reminder that Perry appeared in a 1985 Twisted Sister video that was banned by MTV because it didn’t appreciate the zombie violence.

Michael Jackson’s “Thriller?” No problem because those zombies danced. That really wasn’t the point of “Be Chrool to Your Scuel.”

Watch for Luke (playing a student five years before he landed on 90210) to gets zombified. And yes, that is Alice Cooper and Bobcat Golthwait.
