Retro fun: a 1976 computer that could improvise with music

Here’s a clip from a 1976 episode of the BBC program Tomorrow’s World, which sought to bring viewers the cutting edge of everything. This “stochastic” computer (I have no idea what “stochastic” means) seemed cool back then, but today, I’m sure there’s an app for that. A free one, too.
