UPDATE: RHCP’s Anthony Kiedis Rushed to Hospital in LA

Of all the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis is the one with the longest list of health issues, ranging from hep C to kidney disease to multiple broken bones suffered in various motorcycle accidents. And we won’t even go near his troubles with opiates.

Just hours before the Chilis were supposed to headline a big show in LA, Flea announced that Anthony had been taken away by ambulance after suffering extreme stomach pain. He’s since been hospitalized.

UPDATE: Stand down, everyone. The diagnosis is “complications from intestinal flu” (let’s call it gastroenteritis) and he’s expected to make a full recovery.
