Ricky Gervais Resurrects David Brent as a Cringe-Worth Music Star

If you were a fan of the original The Office, you’ll remember how David Brent was not only an insufferable boss, but he was also a blowhard wannabe singer. Ricky Gervais has brought Brent back to star in a film called David Brent: Life on the Road, which is due August 19. Now out of a job at the paper company, Brent is now pursuing his dream to be a country singer in a band called Foregone Conclusion. Oh, dear.
