RIP John Lever of The Chameleons UK

Back in the 80s, The Chameleons (Chameleons UK to us in North American) came roaring out of a suburb of Manchester, boasting loads of potential, especially with the release of their 1983 album, Script of the Bridge. Three years later, they released this alt-rock hit.

At the time, the band’s drummer was John Lever. According to singer and bassist Mark Burgess, Lever passed away after a short illness.
