Robert Lepage Named as Tenth Glenn Gould Prize Laureate

The Glenn Gould Prize is handed out every two years by the Glenn Gould Foundation to a Canadian artist who best exemplifies the spirit and vision of the legendary Canadian pianist.

This year’s winner of the $50,000 prize is Robert Lepage, a guy who has worked with everyone from the Metropolitan Opera in New York to Cirque du Soleil.

Peter Gabriel also hired him to design two of his tours, including the brilliant Secret World roadtrip in the early 90s.  Watch.  This is how you end a show.
