Rock Music, Played by Actual Cavemen

Music has been around for eons.  But who knew that cavemen were so big into reverb and echo? They’ve fit right in with some of my current noise/shoegaze bands.  From The Daily Mail:

Cavemen had an ear for music as well as an eye for art.

Prehistoric paintings are sited in ‘living’ parts of caves, where sound reverberates strongly, a study of rock art in northern Spain found.

The researchers said: ‘It is clear that sound and image were both significant in ritual lives inside caves.’
