Rock My World Canada, Chapter 19: July Talk

[Mike Carr has put together a massive volume on Canadian music history entitled Canadian Alternative & Indie Reference and Collector’s GuideIt’s an incredible discography of hundreds of bands. This is the latest excerpt from his book. – AC]

July Talk is an alternative rock band formed in 2012 in Toronto. The band consists of singers Peter Drelmanis and Leah Fay, guitarist Ian Docherty, bassist John Warburton, and drummer Danny Miles. July Talk released its self-titled debut album with Sleepless Records on October 16, 2012, with Universal Music Canada releasing an expanded version the following September 9 which went gold within 18 months. The band also received a Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year in 2015.

Their second album, Touch, was released on September 9, 2016.
