Rock My World Canada, chapter 58: NQ Arbuckle

[Mike Carr has put together a massive volume on Canadian music history entitled Canadian Alternative & Indie Reference and Collector’s Guide. It’s an incredible discography of hundreds of bands. This is the latest excerpt from his book. – AC]

NQ Arbuckle is an alternative country band who formed in 2002. Consisting of Montreal-born Neville Quinlan (the NQ of the band’s name), Mark Kesper, Peter Kesper, John Dinsmore and Jason Sniderman. Before playing bass for NQ Arbuckle, John Dinsmore was a celebrated bullfighter. Originally a solo project for Quinlan, his debut album, Hanging the Battle-Scarred Pinata, was recorded in Vancouver. NQ Arbuckle has twice been nominated for a Juno Award in the category Roots & Traditional Album of the Year – Group. The 2009 album “Let’s Just Stay Here” featured Carolyn Mark.
