Vice President Event Cinema, Cineplex Entertainment Brad LaDouceur commented: ““‘Rush | Time Stand Still’ is a love letter to Rush fans from all generations who made the band an important part of the cultural fabric of Canada and solidified their legacy. It’s great that fans can come together as a community to celebrate the band and their behind-the-scenes look at the R40 tour”.

Last year, the band embarked on a 40th anniversary tour that was rumoured to be their last. This documentary follows that journey and allows fans an emotional behind-the-scenes look at the band and crew that provides the raw and vivid emotional undertones of this feature-length film. At the centre are the band’s devoted fans who are on full display as the R40 tour comes to a climax at Los Angeles’ “Fabulous” Forum. Furthermore, personal stories highlight the band’s importance in fans’ lives and the lasting impressions of Rush’s extensive catalogue. Interviews with the trio bring the documentary to an emotional conclusion.
