Rush launches Rush Golden Ale in only the way Rush can

They may be prog kings, but at their core, Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee are proper Canadian hosers. Hey, Geddy even appeared on Bob and Doug’s hit song back in the 80s.

After all these years, Rush now has an official beer, brewed through Henderson Brewing of Toronto, the same company that produced Put Your Scarf On Geddy beer back in 2016.

It’ll be available for sale in Ontario on August 30. There are also official Rush beer t-shirts for sale. I quote: “Books are for tourists. Beer is for geniuses. Rush beer tees are for even more smarter people. This tee shows the label artwork for the new 2021 Rush Canadian Golden Ale. This tee will not get you drunk, but you can get drunk in it.”

Here’s the official launch video.
