Rush’s Clockwork Angels Comic Book Revealed

Remember in early December when I posted about Rush having a comic book on the way? Turns out that Bleeding Cool was on the money about Boom! Studios doing a Rush based comic book and I was correct in my assumption that we were getting a comic based on Clockwork Angels.

The series will be a six issue mini-series that according to Digital Spy, “The story centres around Albion, a land whose people are ruled over down to the last second by The Watchmaker. Tired of his constrained life, young Owen Hardy decides to end the strict planning of his society.”

It will be written by Kevin J Anderson and Neil Peart (who worked on the Clockwork Angels novel together) with interior art by Nick Robles (who already has some preview art up on his website) and covers by Hugh Syme (who Rush fans will remember from the huge amount of Rush album covers he’s done including creating the Starman image for 2112).

As a Rush fan and a comics fan, this is going into my buy pile!
