Sammy Hagar Gets a Street But Bon Jovi Gets Snubbed

It’s always nice to see a rocker get some kind of recognition from his home town.  After some debate, the Tragically Hip has a stretch of street in Kingston named after them.  There’s Joey Ramone Place in NYC. And, of course,  there’s the Kurt Cobain sign in Aberdeen, Washington (although it’s apparently on double-secret probation).

Sammy Hagar just got a street named after him in his hometown of Fontana, California.  I have a feeling that the speed limit on Hagar Way will be less than 55 mph.

However, Bon Jovi got a big snub in Spokane which would have named the Veterans Memorial Arena after them–albeit temporarily.

Do you know of any other streets/landmarks named after rock stars?  There’s gotta be more.
