Sample of the New Superchunk Album, I Hate Music

It’s been about three years since we’ve heard from Superchunk.  And their 2010 album, Majesty Shredding, was their first album in nearly a decade.  That’s because a couple of members from the band have been busy running their record label, Merge Records.  Thanks in part to some Canadian band called Arcade Fire, the label has been doing all right.

The new Superchunk album, I Hate Music (out tomorrow), features pithy tracks like this.
