I Scored a Bottle of Maynard’s Wine!

In between my participation in the Courtney Love “twibel” trial and the Hollywood VIP premiere of Who the [email protected]#k is Arthur Fogel” (CHRIST that sounds pretentious–but it’s honestly why I’m here in LA), I ended up at Covell Wine Bar on Hollywood Boulevard with my new writer friend, Pamela Chelin. (She’s writing for Spin.com about the Courtney trial.)

Pamela introduced me to Matthew, the co-owner of Covell.  After a couple of glasses of a nice Bordeaux, he brought out a bottle from the back room.

Apparently Maynard James Keenan of Tool routinely drops into Covell with samples of Caduseus, his vineyard in Arizona.  This bottle is a 2010 Paciencia Arizona red table wine.

“Here.  With my compliments,” said Matthew.  Wow.

Do I drink it?  Or do I save it?  I’m torn.
