The Scott Stapp Police Investigation is Closed

If you’ve been following the sad saga of Scott Stapp (check here for some background), I’m sorry to report that it’s still going on.

He filed a complaint with police insisting that $26,000 was removed from his back account and that someone had changed his PIN so he couldn’t get access. Then came the story about him living in his van, losing custody of his kids, the divorce filing, the Facebook postings, the Secret Service investigation over his alleged comments about assassinating the president, the drug use and the psychiatric hold.

In the middle of it all was that police report about the missing money.  After trying to contact Stapp five times at the number he provided, the cops gave up, saying they have no information that will allow them to pursue the investigation.

Let’s hope the guy rights himself in 2015.
