As you may know, I co-host a weekly podcast called Geeks & Beats with Michael Hainsworth. If you listen (and apparently quite a few of you do–thank you!), could we impose on your to nominate the show for a Podcast Award.

I know, I know. I feel icky about asking. But we’re trying to expand and extend our reach and this is something that might help. We’re looking for a nomination in the “Best Produced” category (That’s Michael’s ballywick. He does all the production.)

is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 30+ years in the music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock, from David Bowie and U2 to Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. He’s also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music.
