Sex Pistols Test Pressing Goes for $20K on eBay
If I could own just one piece of alt-rock history, I’d probably choose a rare Sex Pistols record from the middle 70s. I’d settle for one of the doomed copies of “God Save the Queen” on A&M, but I’d also consider this.
This past week, an acetate of “God Save the Queen” b/w “No Feelings” on the LTS label–one of just two test pressings known to exist–sold for $19,672 on eBay.
While that’s not a record for the Sex Pistols (mint A&M singles have traded hands for up to $25K), this is still an excellent find.
