Shots of Disturbed at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo

[Another report from Corey Walter with photos by Natie Fischer. – AC]

Disturbed brought their 25th anniversary tour of the The Sickness album to the KeyBank Center in Buffalo. They played their best-known and best-selling album in its entirety.

It was…loud.

There were some amazing theatricals surprises that took place on stage, which I won’t go into detail on in case you’re planning to see the show, but…wow.

They then took a short break and played a second set of many other favorites and two well timed covers, including land of confusion and a visual masterpiece of the acoustic version of “The Sound of Silence.” Kettle drums were brought out along side of a grand piano that had real fire coming from the top of it.

There were no passengers either on stage or in the audience. Everyone in the building did their job. If you fashion yourself a fan of any type of rock ‘n’ roll music, you owe it to yourself to see this performance. It struck a balance between being musically aggressive, yet inclusive, in a way that only a few bands can deliver.
