Shots of Heart at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo

Monday, March 31, brought Ann and Nancy Wilson to the Key Bank stage for a little 80s throwback.

Nancy in bellbottoms, playing both rhythm/lead, and singing some vocals, and running around the stage performing as if she was half her age. Ann, meanwhile,, was forced to perform in a wheelchair due to a broken bone in her arm.

During the latter half of the show, there was a much anticipated acoustic set that included a cover of Led Zeppelin’s Going to California. Heart is well known for covering Zepplin songs as they have stated it’s one of their favorite classic rock bands. Ann Wilson did justice to it, covering Robert Plant with passion, and it was in one word, spectacular. There are a few people who can do that.

As a longtime fan of Heart, I was so happy that I got to see the show, and even more excited that neither of these two talented sisters has missed a beat or lost a step.
