Silverchair Fans: I Have Some Good News and Some Bad News

First, the good news  Silverchair singer Daniel Johns will release new material in 2014.

Now, the bad news:  There will not be a Silverchair reunion.

Here’s what Johns’ manager had to say at a recent conference in Australia: “[The reunion is]not imminently close. You never say never about these things, but his solo record is the next cab off the rank. What happens after that happens after that happens.”
