Sirvana Wins a Grammy for Best Rock Song

If you saw the doc Sound City (and if you haven’t, what’s wrong with you?), you’ll remember footage from a session that features Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, Pat Smear and some guy named Paul McCartney standing in for Kurt.  It’s one of the best scenes in the entire film.

That song–made up and recorded in two hours–picked up the Grammy for Best Rock Song, beating out Sabbath and the Stones.  Pretty cool.
